Perhaps one of the most frequently used and now completely taken for granted technologies, built-in to virtually all mobile devices is the global positioning system (GPS) technology. This system connects you and your devices to a network of satellites that enable you to navigate journeys from “point-A” to “point-B”. Now the technology is sophisticated enough to incorporate real-time data and map out alternate routes based on traffic, weather and other potential delays and impediments to reaching your desired destination. GPS has become an essential daily necessity.
Similarly, our Kingdom journey has been ordered by God to get us to various destinations at precise moments in time. Along the way, we often can get lost or distracted by obstacles, “traffic“, shifts in the atmosphere and other real-time elements that would deter or delay our on-time arrival to our God-appointed destination.
Thankfully, God has equipped us with GPS— a God Positioning System— a network of instructions and resources that keep us from getting lost, distracted or headed in the wrong direction. Our success and God’s glory are attached to our arrival at the right-place, and the right-time. In order to remain connected to your divine GPS, you must remain connected to the Word of God. There is no doubt that the Bible is a trusted and timeless roadmap to successfully navigating life as a Believer. As long as you remain connected to your GPS, you will always know where you are and where you’re headed!
