DESIGN FLAWS

— Matthew 7:26-27 (NIV)

We are the masterpiece product of a perfect God. He is a meticulous artisan with an unparalleled attention to detail. He never makes mistakes, and His Word promises that we are always in His hands because we are always at the wheel being molded and reshaped. Despite the perfect planning of God, we have been placed in a deeply flawed world and surrounded by imperfection.

Our free will gives us the opportunity to make choices and often in our impatience and faithlessness, we opt to skip steps, when God purposes us to accomplish specific tasks.

Despite cutting corners and skipping necessary steps, often times, our work product appears as flawless as the perfect God who crafted and charged us with an assignment. It is only through God-scripted struggles and storms, do the flaws of our disorganized plan manifest.

Because God wants to grow us and move us to the point of intersection with His destiny and promises, and because His promises are so awesome that He must be certain that we are ready to receive them, scripted storms are often necessary to reveal the flaws that must be corrected before we step into our promised destiny. When God reveals your flaws, embrace those moments as reminders that God is always watching and working in order to position you to receive all that He has for you!
